Once that numbing cream has taken effect which is anywhere between 45 minutes to 60 minutes, we will use the Morpheus8 device to deliver the microneedling and radiofrequency energy to your skin. You may feel a slight prickling sensation as the needles penetrate the skin, but most people find the treatment to be relatively painless.
What to Expect after Treatment:
After your treatment, you may experience some redness and swelling in the treatment area, but these side effects should resolve anywhere from a few hours to a few days depending on the part of the body that has been done. We apply microbial cleanser and restorative serum that will boost healing prior to you leaving the office. You can use gentle moisturizer and sunscreen to help soothe and protect your skin on the same day of treatment. We recommend to refrain from touching the area and apply generous amounts of moisturizer to help with redness and comfort. We will also instruct you to use a gentle moisturizer for the next 7 days as the area is healing. If done on your face, you should be makeup free for 24-48 hours.
